About Me

I’m Ashley Derderian Sousa RN, BSN and I help families as they navigate the uncharted waters of parenthood.

With over 12 years of nursing experience, I have spent 8 of those years in labor, delivery and postpartum units. In addition to this I am also a board certified lactation consultant (IBCLC) and currently nearing completion in a Masters of Health Education.

After being in the biz for over nearly 10 years and having a baby myself, I realized there is not always the best evidenced-based education, support, or resources available to expecting families. So I am here to help guide, teach, empower, and support you- no matter where you are in your journey! From trying to conceive through the postpartum period, I am here for you.

Through approachable methods and an open and honest philosophy, I believe each journey to becoming a parent is a personal one that should be met with self-compassion.

Raised and now living in Rhode Island, and a University of Rhode Island graduate, I have a passion for world travel and previously lived and worked in New York City. Most importantly, I’m the lucky momma to a perfect little lady, Grace!

Let’s hang out!
